I am the deputy team manager at Shining Stars.
Prior to qualifying as a social worker, I worked for several years as a support worker, supporting children and adults with disabilities. I enjoyed this work immensely.In 2012, I completed my MSc in Social work and qualified as a social worker, since then I have worked in both private fostering agencies and in local authority fostering teams. I have also sat on a fostering panel for two years.I have set up support groups, organised specific coaching sessions and delivered training to foster carers all with the aim of improving the life chances of children and young people.
